I’ve sipped and snacked my way through happy hours across BC—here are the spots I actually return to again and again.

Let’s face it—eating out in Vancouver can get pricey. But if you love dining out as much as I do, there’s one secret to stretching your dollar without sacrificing flavour: happy hour. The sweet spot is between late afternoon and early evening, when you can enjoy discounted cocktails, share plates, and daily specials at some of the best restaurants and bars in the city.
If you enjoy a good cocktail—especially when they’re as pricey as an entrée—happy hour is the best time to indulge without the splurge.
After countless happy hour adventures throughout Vancouver, I’m sharing my favourite happy hour spots for 2025. These places serve up great drinks, delicious bites, and good vibes—without breaking the bank.
